March 2018 Favorites

When March comes around I can’t help but think how Spring and Summer are just right around the corner. However, this year Winter seems like it wants to over stay its’ welcome. We are well into our first week of April and I still see no signs of Spring, at least here in Montana!

So even though we are still wearing our winter coats and boots, I am naming March the first official month of Spring. And to celebrate the end of the first month of Spring, I have compiled a list of all of my favorites from the last month to share with you!

Now I have quite a few items on my list of favorites that aren’t actually tangible items or products, but rather experiences or things I have adapted into my current state of mind. I hope you enjoy.

MARCH 2018 FAVORITES

HEALTH & WELLNESS

Cycle syncing. Almost a year ago I gave what is called “cycle syncing” a try as was very disappointed. I used to have a very unhealthy relationship with food and when I first experimented with cycle syncing it took me back to those dark days. Fast forward to March of 2018, I am reading the book “Woman Code” by Alisa Vitti and am LOVING cycle syncing! I wrote a blog post on my first experience cycle syncing but I plan to update it soon because I have now thoroughly impressed by it! If you have no clue what I’m talking about, purchase the book mentioned above and you’ll be blown away.

Cooking at home. This is not only a fave of mine but an essential to my family right now. While we try to save some money for future vacations and expenses, cooking at home has really alleviated some of our financial stress. Plus, it’s a win-win because it’s enjoyable, fun, and healthy!

Digestive enzymes. This last month I started taking digestive enzymes to help my gut, specifically when eating out or dining at friends house when I don’t know what’s truly in the food. I don’t take them everyday because I don’t want my body to rely on them, but simply use them as an aid when my stomach feels crappy.

ESSENTIAL OILS

Digize essential oil. I don’t think there will be a time where this little oil isn’t a favorite of mine. Specifically, in March, when my gut issues really started to act up, this guy saved the day! Digize is an essential oil blend to help promote healthy digestion and ease any discomfort.

LIFESTLYE

Being married. Another random favorite but it’s been SO fun being married! For me, it was like a switched was turned on and I became a different woman (any other new brides feel that way?! Lol). It’s just been a blast to watch our relationship continuously unravel into this beautiful love story.

Reading. I go through phases when it comes to reading but lately I am finding it very therapeutic. I like to read for just a few minutes in the middle of the day or read several pages of a book before my head hits the pillow. It gives my eyes a break from looking at my phone, relaxes me, and also inspires me. Currently I am reading “Woman Code” by Alisa Vitti.

Routine. See, I told ya a lot of my favorites from March weren’t tangible items! Routine. You either love it or you hate it. Me, I love it and thrive off of it. With the craziness of our wedding and traveling to Chicago last month, keeping a little bit of routine was very essential to my mental health.
