September 2017 Favorites

It’s my favorite time of the month- Monthly Favorites! Today I am sharing with you guys my favorites from the month of September! (I can’t believe I just typed that…holy moly!!!) I feel like a broken record when I say this but I cannot believe another month has passed and we are now in FALL. Craziness! I’m a lover for summer and the hot sun but my real love lies in the crisp autumn air, fall foods, and of course the fashion! Anyways, I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been loving and I hop you love these products too!

September 2017 Favorites

FOODS

Kite Hill cream cheese and Yogurt– I can’t remember if I’ve shared this before but if I have, it’s for good reason that I am sharing it again. I always heard about this brand and let me tell ya, it lives up to the hype! Both the yogurt AND the cream cheese. My personal favorite is the chive cream cheese and for the yogurt the vanilla is BOMB (taste just like vanilla bean AND you can see the little beans in it). The only downfall to the yogurt is that it does have cane sugar which I try to avoid but I don’t eat it everyday so I don’t mind as much.

Qia Superfood Cereal– I don’t know about any of you but my guilty pleasure is cereal. I can’t ever find a healthy cereal that is gluten and dairy free and doesn’t use cane sugar to sweeten it until I stumbled upon this one! Crunchy, coco-nutty goodness!

Simple Mills crackers– Ya’ll know I love their cookies so you bet I love their crackers. Bonus points because they use sprouted seeds to make them! My favorite way to eat them is by themselves or dipped in the Kite Hill cream cheese!

SKIN CARE

Cocokind Chlorophyll face mask + Turmeric Spot Treatment duo– I have mentioned the brand Cocokind many times before and I will always rave about them! Lately I’ve been LOVING using the chlorophyll mask and applying the turmeric spot treatment on top, all over my face. It is sooo nourishing and clears blemishes and evens out skin tone.

Cocokind My Matcha Stick– Another one from Cocokind but a goodie. This stick has been my go-to this last month. I have been using it under my eyes 2x a day as well as on any other dry spots on my face! It literally cures the driest of skins.

Nourish Organic face cleanser– I use to wash my face with just ACV and water but it seemed to start drying it out. I searched for a cheap, yet toxic free, face wash to try and I must say this first pick was on point! It’s great for all skin types and doesn’t dry out your face. I use the cucumber and watercress cleanser.

Nourish Organic face lotion– Every good face wash needs an even better face moisturizer! Continuing with the trend of Nourish Organic, this is the perfect pair for the face wash I just mentioned. Lightweight, toxic free, and gets the job done! I use the argan and rosewater lotion 1x a day.

Dessert Essence facial oil (balancing face oil)– At night this has been my go-to moisturizer! If ya couldn’t tell already, I LOVE skin care and I have pretty dry skin since moving to Montana so this comes in handy! Toxic free and made only with essential oils! I apply this after I wash my face and my skin literally drinks it up.

WELLNESS

Peppermint Essential Oil– Considering the last 2 weeks of September have been brutal for me, Peppermint oil has been my saving grace. This oil goes in my diffuser, on my wrists, roof of my mouth, on my tea, ANNND on my stomach. If ya don’t have you some Peppermint oil, what are ya doing?!?!

My Hydro Flask– Speaking of being my saving grace, this water bottle saves me when it comes to staying hydrated. I have the 40oz Hydro Flask and it is amazing. It is stainless steel so it keeps your drinks hot or cold, doesn’t sweat, and is BPA free. I aim to drink 2-3 of these a day and I won’t lie, it’s pretty challenging!

What are some of your favorites you’ve been loving?! Have you tried anything I mentioned above?! Let me know! Comment below or on my Instagram (@iamdevonjade), I would love to hear from you!

XOXO,

D.J.
