I have created this website to share my thoughts, feelings, and exciting life moments. Aside from my highlight reel, I will also be sharing my knowledge on intentional living; whether that be through the products I use or everyday life as a mama! While scrolling through my site you’ll find posts on many different topics that range from my everyday lifestyle, non-toxic living, and motherhood. My goal with this blog isn’t to tell others what they should or shouldn’t do, but to share my personal experiences in hopes that it helps at least one person out there. I believe we all deserve and have the choice to become the best versions of ourselves and live the life we dream of.
Hi, everyone! If you don’t know by now, my name is Devon and I am the creator and human behind DevonJade! First and foremost, thank you for coming along on this journey with me and supporting my blog and brand! To get to know me better and to understand why I created this space, keep on reading!
Health and wellness have always been a huge passion of mine. What once started out as endless hours in the gym, unhealthy eating habits, and disordered thinking, is now a beautiful passion for striving to always live my best life through proper mental, physical, and spiritual health! I am twenty-six years old with experience far beyond my age and I have a strong desire to share all of it with the world. I currently live in Delaware with my husband, Mark, our son Jasper, and our German Shepard, Cheyenne, and our Boxer/Mastiff mix, Charlie. Mark is in the military so we are always on the go and have had many opportunities for adventure so who knows where we’ll end up next!
After giving birth to our son, I quickly fell in love with all things pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood. I wanted to use my expertise of Life and Wellness Coaching and tie it into these other aspects of life. So, I began studying to become a doula! This process has been so rewarding and healing for me. I am also a certified Meditation Teacher and have no doubts that becoming a doula will tie in perfectly with this.
Through many of life’s highs and lows, I’ve felt a strong calling to use what I learned to encourage others to live their very best life through a mind-body connection. Becoming aware of my thoughts, learning how to be more mindful, and decluttering my life from toxins (literally and figuratively) has made such a significant impact on my life. I have taken this even more seriously as I navigate motherhood. Although having proper knowledge of health and wellness is important, I believe when we take the time to truly learn about ourselves, that’s when the real transformation happens. We are all connected to one another, the universe, and this planet and when you do the work, you have the chance to make a large impact in this world.
I encourage this lifestyle of mine in several ways by practicing journaling, meditation, yoga, tapping into my intuition, and non toxic living just to name a few. Some of my other hobbies and passions include going to the gym, cooking and baking, traveling, hiking, reading, and astrology. I like to think of myself as a person with many passions and a thirst for knowledge so, I am always diving deep into new hobbies and absorbing all the information on anything and everything!
With this space I hope to encourage you to take action to live your best life and make your dreams come to fruition.
